DEVON 

Sharpham Vineyard

Run on part of the 1000 year old farm owned by the Sharpham Trust on slopes above the River Dart, two miles downstream of the ancient market town of Totnes. The winery employs both New World and traditional techniques to best develop their unique regional characteristics.

100% Rondo grape. Full-flavoured with rich and vibrant black fruit flavour, made by cold macerating the red grapes for three days, followed by fermentation on the skins for a further four days before being pressed.



L4 - SHARPHAM PINOT NOIR 2009 – 12%

100% Pinot Noir. Perfectly ripe grapes, hand picked, destemmed, then hand plunged during extended cold maceration. Delicious bright wine packed full of sweet plummy fruit with a dry finish.

7 – CHÂTEAU LA ROCA Cotes du Roussillon 2009 – 13.5%

Brilliant ruby red in colour with a nose of ripe, juicy fruits, redcurrants, violets, herbs and vanilla are reflected in the well balanced palate with ripe tannins and balanced acidity


8 – ST HILAIRE MERLOT Vin de Pays d’Oc – 13.5%

Medium bodied, classy red, with plenty of lush chocolate scented fruit. Deep purple colour, a bouquet of blackberries and herbs, a firm structure supporting a black fruit and chocolate flavour, supported with a tiny amount of oak.

Medium bodied supple dry red with classic blackcurrant overtones and a lovely fleshy fruitiness from this intensely ripe vintage. A definite cigar-box nose with hints of blackberry. The palate is dry with a pronounced acidity.
