We are proud winners of many local and regional awards for the quality of our food and hospitality.
Do browse the sample menus, which give an indication of the type of food we prepare. Please note however that our menu changes daily according to the availability of ingredients from our holding and local suppliers.
If you have any special dietry requirements, or suffer from any allergies please do let us know before ordering.
All our food is cooked 'from scratch' on the premises, many ingredients are sourced or grown locally and this will increase as time goes on. We have invested in a smoker to produce our own smoked meat and fish for our menu, which changes daily according to the availability of ingredients. We also cure bacon and hams plus Red Ruby Devon beef bresaola. We bake our own sour dough bread on a daily basis, plus gluten free bread for coeliacs.
We cater for vegetarians, vegans, coeliacs and those of you with special dietary requirements - please advise us of these when booking. We do not - as a rule - have steaks on our menu, preferring to create dishes that you would not normally have at home, if you would like a steak please let us know, when booking, giving a couple of days notice.
Our brigade of Ian Neale (Head chef) together with Luke Holman work alongside Mo to bring you quality food. Ian has brought with him a wealth of experience including spells at Bibendum, London and The Albion at Clifton, whilst Luke worked for several years at Michael Caines in Exeter.
